Bronze Resin   34 x 32 x 26cm – £1500

With this bronze sculpture I explored a figure less solid than my usual sculptures – with three air spaces trapped between between arms, legs and body.

For me, her expression lies somewhere between relaxation and exhaustion, the primeval function of sitting being restfulness. Laying her hand on top of her head while looking up, she might be considering all the work that still remains to be done. She is taking a break, but is not yet vanquished.
